Cider and Honey Glazed Chicken

As much as I enjoy intricate recipes, you can't beat an easy, throw-it-all-in-the-oven go-to recipe for the days that you want a lot of flavor with not a lot of work.  This recipe is simple and aside from the cider & chicken, you'll likely have everything you need right in your pantry!

Ingredients:
  • olive oil spray
  • 8-10 bone-in skin-on chicken thighs
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • italian seasoning
  • poultry seasoning
  • 1.5c apple cider
  • 2 tbsp honey
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Spray a large roasting pan with olive oil.  Place the chicken thighs in the pan skin side up.  Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, italian seasoning and poultry seasoning.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the cider and the honey.  Pour over the chicken.
  4. Bake 40-50 minutes, until the chicken is crispy on top and the juices run clear.
You could also try this with boneless chicken, I've been told that it is just as delish!
