Ingredients:
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 jalapeno, diced
- 1/2 of a red onion, diced
- olive oil
- 1 lb ground beef (or ground beef/veal/pork mix = fab)
- 1/4c red wine
- 1/8c red wine vinegar
- 4oz tomato paste
- 2c tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/8c worcestershire sauce,
- salt, pepper
- 1/2 tbsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp each- cumin, italian seasoning, mustard powder, cayenne pepper, montreal seasoning (if you've got it)
- bulkie rolls
- Cook the peppers and onion in olive oil for 5 min.
- Add the beef and brown it. Drain off the fat.
- Add the wine, vinegar, paste, sauce, sugar, worcestershire, and seasoning. Cook until bubbly and heated throughout. Add some water if it's too thick.
- Serve on rolls and enjoy!
